IXL
What is IXL? IXL is an online program that helps students practice math, english, science, or social studies skills. It aligns with your states standards and is presented in a way students of all ages can access easily. It can be accessed for free. However, if you want full access it is $79. IXL can be used for students pre-k to 12th grade. Each grade is broken up into different categories students can access or teachers can assign for students to complete. Once students complete and assigned standard, teachers are able to see how the student did and IXL makes suggestions on how to challenge them.
iReady
What is iReady? iReady is an online learning platform that provides students with online learning and teachers access to different tools and resources to help students. A license to use iReady is typically purchased through your school system because in order to purchase the program, you have to purchases at least 150 student licenses. When your students use iReady, they will begin taking a diagnostic which helps teachers guide individual students in reading and math.
Starfall
What is Starfall? Starfall is a website or app that delivers basic reading and math skills to students. This is a free resource to access. Students begin by clicking pre k/ kindergarten or 1st/2nd/3rd grade. Each student can access games, books, etc.
